I once was a seed, then came my greed.
That's when came my hunger,
which made me stronger.

I wanted more. It was time to explore.
That's where it begun. It was time to run.
I've had strife, but hey, that's life.

I've had good times. I've had bad times.
When I was a child, I was sometimes wild
then I became mellow and I met my fellow.
And now life goes on.
That's – I think – why life begun.

When we are old, our love will still be bold.
When it's our time to go, our children will grow.
They will want more.It's their time to explore,
their time to run and to have some fun.
They'll have good times. They'll have bad times.
They'll also get some strife, but hey – that's life.
