My Trip to Newington by Lynne Campbell (far left)

Last Tuesday I was out all day. In the evening I came to South Bridge office. I met Marianne in the office at 4.30pm. I sat and waited for Marianne to come down the stairs.
    There were five of us in the Prestonfield Hotel. The food was wonderful. I enjoyed myself. It was crowded. You couldn't move because it was too crowded. The deaf people won an award. Everyone clapped for them.
    We had our dinner at 8.30pm. Afterwards I got the taxi home with Marianne. I got home at 10.30pm. I enjoyed myself a lot.
