The Shark
There's a common belief that sharks are man-eaters and that if you see one in the ocean you're doomed to be eaten alive. This myth was made more believable in the 1970s by the book and the film
Jaws. I remember when Jaws first came out I was afraid to go in the water. Sixty two per cent of shark attacks occur in less than five feet of water.
