Float Fishing
There are many kinds of float fishing depending on whether a still or runnning water is being fished, or whether the water is deep or shallow. When using a float, fish can be caught at any depth from the surface to the bottom.

The Pike
This is a powerful predatory fish which is equipped with sharp, needle-like teeth. The colouring of greens and yellows is good to enable them to camouflage themselves. They eat almost any fish that they can get in their mouths and have also been known to take small water birds. Great care must be used when unhooking them as the teeth are capable of inflicting nasty wounds on any fisherman.
