The Community Based Adult Learning Team provides a range of free courses reflecting local interests (with free crèche wherever possible)

• we provide spring and autumn courses, adult summer schools and other learning opportunities
• we hold an awards ceremony to recognise local learners acheivements
• International Women’s Day is celebrated with local events
• local crèche worker training courses run every year
• Family Learning organises Nursery to Primary 1 transition and school-based groups for parents and carers
• we produce a 'What’s On' leaflet which gives information on community centre programmes and other adult learning opportunities
• we run informal courses that help with numbers and budgeting, reading and writing or brushing up your skills (run all year round)
• we can help with information about The City of Edinburgh Council Adult Education Programme which is city-wide including classes in local areas
