Community Based Adult Learning provides informal learning in a wide range of subjects including courses to help adults improve their everyday writing, reading, and number skills.

Students in literacy groups work on aspects of everyday literacies related to their lives. With the tutor, students agree an individual learning plan building on their existing knowledge and skills, and develop other aspects of knowledge and understanding through working with others in the group.

Before joining a group students come to an interview and discuss their learning needs so they can work on the things that they want to learn. The groups are free.
